    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think the course is fruitful. You get to learn a lot about American History

    Course highlights:

This course is full of information. When you take it with Hoff be prepared to take it only with handwritten notes, long lectures, no uploaded slides, and lots of reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is completely exam driven with Hoff. There are three exams and that is it. If you mess up on the first exam youre not going to be able to drop without a W.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very direct and has simple instructions for his class. He does challenge you to think and connect the dots he lays out for his exams.

    Course highlights:

I am not a huge history class fan, but for me a highlight was learning more about our nations politics and how they came to be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study a lot! You will have to be able to understand cause and effect, and be able to put your knowledge in an essay.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is good to know American history, but I learned little more than I learned in my high school AH class.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was having the essay prompt for the test multiple weeks in advance. It provided ample time to study. I learned a lot about the great depression and FDR's reforms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Write an essay for the test prompt at least a few times before the actual test. It's a great way to study. Also, go to class.
