    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a class that I had to take for my major, but I definitely chose the wrong instructor. James is a graduate student and it was his first time teaching, so that may have been why I feel like I didn't learn much. But not only did I feel that I didn't learn much, he was extremely disrespectful to some of my classmates. He had clear favorites and clear "un-favorites. He would snap at his un-favorites and not answer their questions, but when it was a student that he liked that asked the same question, he would go explain and answer the question thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

The homework wasn't required. It was helpful to do them for the quizzes and exams, but if you didn't have time to do it one night, it was no big deal.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get on his bad side and read the book. He wasn't very good at explaining new concepts because they should've all been "intuitive."

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is amazing, best person to teach calculus.

    Course highlights:

How actively involved the professor was with the students and made sure we understood the content.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

YOU NEED TO DO THE HOMEWORK. Practice everyday.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you have the time for the homework load. There is a lot of homework but it doesn't count much toward your grade. Without doing the hours of homework you will not finish the tests quickly enough. Tests are short but timed. What you don't finish is a zero.

    Course highlights:

The professor is great. Funny and explains the concepts well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study! Most of the final grade is based on tests. Test questions are lengthy and, if you are too slow, you won't finish. There is a short time limit, no extensions, no extra credit.
