    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class, very easy and a great introductory class into chemistry itself.

    Course highlights:

This class goes slow enough where you can actually understand all of the basics of chemistry and the periodic table if you put in a little work outside of class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class if you are interested in the hard sciences/chemistry in genreal. I would really recommend Statler as he is the department head.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot from this course but the learning was all done outside the classroom through online videos.

    Course highlights:

Statler loved in class experiments which were always enjoyable. I learned a lot but wish I would have taken a little chemistry refresher after waiting 3 years to take this since my last chemistry class.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the material and meet with the TA's.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely difficult and the teachers rarely actually taught the material. Instead they simply did experiments in class and expected you to know everything and anything about what was going on with no prior knowledge.

    Course highlights:

A couple of cool things I learned were how fireworks get their colors and why each snowflake takes a different shape.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're really smart go for it, if you've never truly had a solid science education I would recommend fining a really good tutor who can work with you up to 3 times a week otherwise you will struggle.
