Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was something different than normal college or high school. It provided a level of hands on and personal learning that is very difficult to get anywhere else. On top of all of that, it is actually fun!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course definitely consisted of the different aspects of learning. Everything from Seminars given by astro physicists, to tours of electrolysis plants, it all is so unique! As well as those things, you also get a very thorough understanding of multiple principles in Chemistry-more than I have gotten in any other setting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Enjoy it and don't be afraid to ask for help!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very hands on and very challenging, and I loved it! It showed the different uses for chemistry and the many aspects of the science. It showed you various concepts and techniques to find different things in chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do several concepts of chemistry such as spectrophotometry through hands on labs, and the labs were the highlights. We also had people come and speak to us about their jobs and how they use chemistry in their lives, and it showed us that while we may be learning somewhat boring and difficult organic chemistry, there really is a use for it in the real world.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework and pay attention in class. Falling asleep is a bad idea, especially during the organic chemistry unit. Pay attention to those that come to speak to you, they show you interesting things that you could be doing in your future.
