This class was tough.
It's a challenging collaborative course that allows you delve into real-world marketing experiences. During the class you join up with a team of four to go through a marketing simulation where the decisions you make impact market share globally. You are trying to gain the most market share and "win" the market against other student groups. It's an awesome application that was strategic and practical for the real world.
Highlights of the course were the rigorous case study work that you have to do and the marketing simulation. These experiences help you dive in and think deeper beyond your regular class assignments and work that you would normally get. The challenge of the class makes for the most rewarding experience in college. learned that working in a team and building off the group's strengths was an essential part of being successful in the class. In our group everyone had a voice. This helped to be able to view different perspectives and make decisions based on strong arguments from those perspectives. I also learned to be thorough. The case studies were designed to help you peel back the onion and get to the real meaning of why companies and corporations acted the way the did.

I would say to be open-minded and let your peer's opinions and judgments be vetted to be able to get the best outcome for your group. I would also say that this course is no walk in the park and extensive study and out of class work is required to achieve a gratifying grade.
