Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend, due to the massive help she provides throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the way that she brought the students to help each other even though it was an online course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say keep up with the textbook as well as your homework and you will do well in this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone needing to take Math 1050, from Maggie Cummings. Math is my weakest subject, she explains perfectly and cares that her students succeed. I passed her class with a grade I never thought I could in math.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do math from this course. Maggie gives a ton of time to interact with other students in the class. I learned early on that I couldn't pass the class alone, which helped get me out of my comfort zone and make new math friends. I definitely recommend visiting often with the teaching assistant, that helps with remembering and reviewing all work done in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss a class! It takes a ton of work to catch up what was missed. Go to supplementary instruction and teaching assistant sessions, those helped me a ton. Do all homework. I leaned that anyone could do math! I wish I knew sooner that teaching assistants can meet with me personally, outside of the classroom for help. That would have saved my first midterm. But use every resource that Maggie gives and you'll succeed in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Maggie isn't some professor who shows up, tells you what you need to know, and moves on with her day. Maggie is someone who truly cares about each and one of her students and gets on a one on one basis with you.

    Course highlights:

Of course I learned Math, but besides that, I learned her three life points that she gave us. 1. Question Authority 2. Be present and Lastly, 3. Don't take crap from anyone.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be present to every class. Don't think you'll get the notes from someone else because she has her own way of teaching and you won't quit understand it from just looking at a piece of paper.
