    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is great because like the title indicates, it really connects you with others and the university. My best friends and I met through this class.

    Course highlights:

Getting a sense of confidence about college life and having the skills to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the course with an open mind, because you will learn some things you already knew, and lots of things you didn't think you would need to know.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course is about our Nation's history. The professor was the best part . He's animated, and not afraid to do weird things to keep your attention. He uses outlines that you can print out for each class, and if you miss a class you already have what he went over, you just need to study it a little more on your own. He doesn't assign homework, and you only have 3 exams. But you do have a surprise quiz each week.

    Course highlights:

In all honesty, I knew most of the things that were taught in this course, we just went into more detail. My favorite was learning about the Civil War. We focus so mush on WWII and the Great Depression, that sometimes we miss the details that helped our country grow.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study. The quizzes are easy if you do your reading, but missing class and not studying the material can hurt your exam results.

    Course highlights:

I met new people and got a feel of what college would be like.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Start reading the book early, don't procrastinate.
