    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was amazing and it was even better to learn about education from a principal of a local school. He had perspectives that you can't get from a lot of different professors.

    Course highlights:

This course showed me what it really takes to be an elementary school teacher. It shows you things that you don’t really see when you’re looking at the profession. It helps you know if you can make it or not as a teacher.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don’t let the assignments scare you. Keep on top of them and have fun with it! It is one of your first introductions into the education world and these are the most important moments in the classroom so pay attention and enjoy it!

It was a perfect way to gauge how I would fit with an Elementary Ed. major and taught me so many things about teaching!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it for anyone considering a teaching profession because it can help them decide if that's really what they want to do. The instructor is also very nice and helpful.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the teacher observation at the elementary school on campus., the Eidth Bowen Laboratory school. You learned how teachers handle the kids and manage the class. When you are done with observations you got to interview the teacher and ask any questions you have about teaching.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take good notes in class, sign up for service hours early during the course to have them complete for the final project, and fill out the observation papers while you are observing the teacher.
