Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course really opened up my eyes to the problems that our society deals with. It is easy to get sucked into your own bubble and not realize the struggles that others go through, some like yours and some completely different. This class enabled me to look outside myself and see how I can make a difference.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the documentaries we watched. They were often brutally honest about the barriers that people face in their everyday lives and were truly eye opening.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read the textbook.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much, and was taught to think in a way that removed myself from the equation. I learned how to examine a problem from multiple perspectives and frameworks.

    Course highlights:

We watched some really honest documentaries about the barriers certain groups face in our American society that helped me stop and look at myself and how I see those who are different from me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise those taking it to read the textbook and take notes. This helped me to internalize the material and connect it to my life.
