Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great if you are into learning about how to analyze the world around you in a way completely different than you have before. The professor has a great way of introducing the studies of the philosophers so that they can relate to questions that you may have everyday.

    Course highlights:

This class really helped get me back into the swing of writing essays. Professor Kleiner has a lot of different stories that help relate the questions that philosophers are trying to answer to modern day life. You are also taught to think critically in terms of analyzing text.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is not a super easy course. There are a lot of essays that you have to write and you have reading nearly every night. I thought that it was worth what I got out of the class, though.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor makes it super easy to understand even the most obscure concepts. It's a great introduction to the bizarre--and yet strangely familiar--world of philosophy.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write about difficult concepts with logic and clarity. I also learned how to dig through difficult texts without feeling overwhelmed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend his lectures. That's the only way you're going to know how to write his style or get all the information for the assignments.
