    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is very useful and helpful for all parts of the music career. Also, the teacher was absolutely fantastic and really wanted you to succeed. Everything was to help you with all your other courses, and they were built to be taught at a good pace where anyone could follow if they've had some music background. This professor is one of the best that I have ever had and I really loved it.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about writing music and all the rules and reasoning behind it. I also really learned about what certain chords were the most used in today's music. It really applied to what i'm studying and how it is with the music I listened to. This was such a good course for me to learn about part writing and about music.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to work on this and do the homework. Yet, if you apply yourself you'll easily be able to get it understood and worked out. Everyone is willing to help you understand, so as long as you are able to get the help you need, you'll easily be able to succeed.
