    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I loved this class! Music is a big part of my life and learning about jazz really increased my appreciation for it. It was fun and very informative. I would highly recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about all the people that helped make jazz into what it is today.

    Advice for students:

    Take lots of notes! The quizzes and tests have lots of need to know information.

    Course Overview:

    Very interesting class, with a lot of visuals and audio to help learn topics. The professor does a great job making the material relevant and interesting for students who do not have a background in music.

    Course highlights:

    I became familiar with the most important names in jazz, how the history of jazz goes hand in hand with black history, and how truly important jazz music was on shaping American history and culture.

    Advice for students:

    Take the course seriously, the course covers important history that you will hear people refer to regularly in everyday life.
