    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is tough but Frank Shuman is a fantastic teacher and he truly cares about his students success, if they're willing to put forth the effort. Professor Shuman teaches accounting in a very applicable way and makes sure his students have a deep understanding of the material.

    Course highlights:

First, this course gave me a deeper understanding of how accounting applies to managing a business. Secondly, overall this course helped me become a better learner and therefore a better student. The highlight of this course was watching my hard work pay off--if you put forth the effort to learn the material, you truly learn a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My number one piece of advice is to go to class, always. Having a superficial knowledge of the material won't get you an A, so make sure you're reading the material and doing the homework daily. Frank is beyond happy to help, so take advantage of his office hours!
