Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought it was a really interesting class. It covers the basics for a lot of the things you'll continue to learn throughout your degree.

    Course highlights:

He has so many stories and experiences that you can't get anywhere else, take advantage of that.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take the class lightly. Even though it's an intro class you will still need to know the information.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives a lot of information that you can use throughout your life whether or not you like animals, are a vegan or not, because a lot of the information applies to so many aspects of life since it's about agriculture as a whole with an emphasis on animals.

    Course highlights:

Information on food, fabric, fields, animals, and the balance of them. It also talks about why agriculture is important to us. It talks about nutrition for humans as well as for livestock. It talks about how to care for animal well-being, reproduction, and more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are a lot of terms and a lot of them have groups that they go into so using mnemonics and phonetics help a lot.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great introductory course. There is so much information and it can be hard to absorb it all. However, it is all interesting and the instructor is outstanding.

    Course highlights:

One of the biggest sections was about animal production. Which was interesting because I really only know about beef cattle so it was exciting to learn about sheep and pigs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take really good notes. One thing about 'Doc' (the professor) he has so much information to give and everything cannot fit on the slides. When he gets to certain topics, he could talk them forever giving out tons of information.
