    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Teacher was okay but graded papers not on how well it was written but based upon whether or not he liked the topic you picked out.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about literary analysis and that I no longer wanted to be an English Major through this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course only if you know for certain that you want to be an English Major.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Straight encouraged me and pushed me to expand my potential for greatness as I analyzed and wrote about great literature. His lectures are engaging and exciting. His passion is contagious and fills the room!

    Course highlights:

This is a hard class, but I learned so much about how to study literature. I improved as a reader and as a writer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it! Don't be afraid of taking a hard class if you're passionate about literature. You might have to work for it, but if you put forth the effort and let your passion show, you can still earn an A. You will learn a lot about your abilities along the way, too!
