    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Art History was really a great class, and even though it is a lot of reading there was always something new to talk about. I am not personally an art history lover, but i really enjoyed this class with Professor Sand- she always has something interesting to say.

    Course highlights:

In this specific course, we talk about art and artifacts dating from the Prehistoric age to the Medieval age, and it is a lot of art in a short amount of time, but Prof Sand gives you a timeline of the works of art that is pretty easy to follow if you go to class everyday. She does do random attendance checks, so it's important to go everyday if you can.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on your homework and reading. There is a timeline that is assigned throughout the semester, and if you don't keep on top of it, you'll be doing it the day before, and that's hard to do (there are 125 works of art that go on this timeline and it's very time-consuming). So, just stay on top of that and you'll be just fine!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course for a few reasons: firstly, the professor is extremely tolerant, if a little boring. Secondly, art history is a fascinating subject, even if the lesson plan is not.

    Course highlights:

I loved this class simply because I love art history, and this course teaches you to evaluate methods of design and apply concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have to take an art history class, this class is one of the easiest. However, in general, lecture art history courses are all pretty dull.
