    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's so interesting! There is so much to learn -- it's a lot of information and it goes really fast, but it's not impossible.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, this course gave me so many insights into my own life and experiences. I'm a returning student and have been through a myriad of health and psychological experiences. This course really helped solidify that what I was currently doing was the right thing to do for me. Validation!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always, always, always do the reading. Go through all of the LearnSmart questions (the online version of the book has these), do every single one of the questions and flash cards, and make sure you know the information backward and forwards. It's not hard, just time-consuming.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved the subject and I loved the teacher. Very well executed in giving us new knowledge and experiences.

    Course highlights:

I gained an understanding of how the brain works and how differently wired all of us are. I saw people in a new light and all the possibility that happens to a brain as we all get older.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be very open to what you learn and who you are being taught by. Most things you learn are hard reality and nothing you could have imagined. It broadens your knowledge of mental illnesses and helps you have a better knowledge of where it all stems from.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved the way the professor taught and engaged the class. She was always happy to be there. I could tell she likes what she does so that has motivated me to try harder in her class and like what I am learning.

    Course highlights:

I have gained a better understanding of the basics of psychology. I was taught about developmental stages of the brain, hormones that cause the brain to act certain ways, tricks that your mind will play on you, and many others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be willing to put forth some effort in the beginning to get all the experiments out of the way so you can focus on other assignments during the semester
