Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking an intro to Psychology course is an excellent way to make sense of yourself and the world around you. It opens up possibilities probably wouldn't know about unless you took the class.

    Course highlights:

Opportunities to meet people with disorders (great if you want to become a psychologist) and participate in studies psychologists are doing on campus. The class requires you to attend activities that are generally quite fascinating. I also really enjoyed learning about OCD, anxiety, and depression. These are all common ailments when attending the university because there's a lot of stress in completing assignments and attending class. Learning about these disorders will help students to understand that they're (the disorders) nothing to be afraid and there are multiple ways to manage them. Dr. Blais is amazing. She's an articulate lecturer and makes the class a lot of fun. Rarely if ever does she get off topic or talk about something that is irrelevant to the class. Further, she puts everything on the table and prepares her students properly for exams. I didn't face a single exam in that class that she didn't thoroughly prepare me for.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take plenty of notes on the power-points, do your reading, attend S.I's fairly regularly, and give yourself plenty of time to satisfy SONA credits. You'll do great!

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Manage your time well and always ask questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this class. The professor was amazing. I always had questions for her after class and she would always have answers and would sit and talk about them. You could tell that she truly cared about your success.

    Course highlights:

I loved that this course was just a basic overall introduction into psychology but it really opened my mind to people because it made me realize that I have no idea what they are thinking and feeling. I also loved that the assignments we were given where different from normal course work. There was a wide variety.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The little lab assignments that are given are really important not only for your grade but for also really understanding the material and seeing what you have learned in action.
