    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was easy to understand, and everything was explained with great detail. There were plenty of online resources as well, and I appreciated that.

    Course highlights:

I learned not only to solve triangles and complicated formulas, but also to understand how the math works in each situation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do extra problems for practice. If you've been assigned odd numbers, do the evens too. It really helps.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor does not teach all the required info for the final. He is usually under prepared and is extremely hard to learn from. He does not give good examples in class or really know how to even answer some questions

    Course highlights:

Although he is an awful professor, he is an extremely nice guy. Because of this course I learned where the tutoring center is located and when it is open. I learned nothing about trig that I didn't already know.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To take this course from this professor, you will need the book in order to teach yourself a lot of things, and i would recommend finding a friend in the class who you can study with and compare notes and homework with. I also advise finding the tutoring center and their times.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course if it is a requirement. If you can get away with just taking 1050 and being done I would do that. It is very time consuming and harder to do if you are taking multiple classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned that taking the time to get help on things you don't understand can really make a difference. Taking advantage of the math tutoring they have available to you is best. Also being able to redo assignments until you get a score you are happy with is awesome.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are memorizing all the formulas. Trig is all about memorization. If allowed, take advantage of the note card you can use for the tests. Write down any formulas you are having trouble memorizing. Take several of the practice tests until you are satisfied with your practice scores.
