Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a phenomenal introduction and overview to basic biology. I highly enjoyed the class and the instructor gave every opportunity for one to succeed. It was not excessively challenging, nor was it tediously easy. This course does require effort outside of the classroom, and is an excellent learning experience. Would definitely recommend!

    Course highlights:

Although this course is an intended overview, it does go in depth on several topics. I learned a great deal about organisms and their cellular structure, about life, evolution, and the world in which we live. I found it fascinating. I especially loved the overview of evolutionary theories, but each unit offered great information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are interested in a career that in any way involves biology this is a great begging point for you! If you are not at all interested, this course would still be wise to take, for every educated person should know this information. Take detailed course notes during lectures and your life in this class will be a breeze.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you need a required science course, this one is pretty painless. It is interesting subject matter without too many complicated scientific terms. Honestly the hardest material was the mini chemistry refresher in the first week.

    Course highlights:

The end of this course was the most interesting, where you learn about environmental science and what you can do to protect the planet. The amount of information was a little daunting but ultimately hopeful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize all of the bolded terms and you should be good! It is not hard to get an A in this class, as long as you do the work asked of you.
