    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a tough class! However, it is very rewarding for future classes. Just stay on top of the material as the semester progresses.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from taking this class! It showed me the importance of going to supplemental instruction and studying! Mastering biology can be a great study tool if you use it correctly!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the SI sessions! They help a lot! Use flash cards to help, or write out the cycles! They take questions off of the practice exams that you can use for exams, so i would suggest studying those thoroughly. Know the answers and know why that is the answer.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was a good experience. I took it as a concurrent enrollment course so it was broadcasted. It was sort of like what you take in high school but it went into more depth into the chemistry and energy portions of the course. It was perfect for the type of people with a weak stomach because we didn't dissect anything. But for people like me it was a little disappointing because I love the anatomy portion of the course.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course were it went through in depth through the calvin cycle. It also went through all the different phyla which was something we had done in the high school biology class but once again we went more in depth into it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

if you are wanting to take this course the you should first make sure that you study. this course was fairly easy but only because I studied. also you should make sure to stay caught up and don't get behind. Its an amassing class if you are interested in science. lastly if you like the anatomy portion make sure to take it direct with a teacher in the classroom. that was the one downside of taking it as a concurrent class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I learned a lot of useful information for my major. It is a difficult class but if you work hard you can get a lot out of it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about genetics, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, cell cycle, and plant structure and life cycles.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the text book for your homework and studying. It isn't required but it helps a lot.
