    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a good class to take if you like ecology or if you will be majoring in biology.

    Course highlights:

The professors were amazing. Mastering biology was a big help and their was a big emphasis on ecology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on reading chapters. Study each section after you learn it. Go to the SI sessions. Ask for help and use study groups for tests. Go to class for iclicker points.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very strenuous course that requires a lot of studying and effort. Dr. Messina is a very engaging and excellent professor, and his tests are about at the level you would expect of a class like this. Dr. Gilbertson is quite monotone and not as good at getting the important information across as Dr. Messina. This class is chalk full of a ton of information, all of which you will need to know for the exams and the final. Study. A lot.

    Course highlights:

This is a very very big class. This tends to make it very stressful and can make it kind of a hard learning environment, however, it does give you a large variety of people to become friends and/or study buddies with. I met tons of people in this class and have been able to maintain close relationships with a few of them. Having people in this class you can rely on is extremely important.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My best study tips for this course include finding friends in the class. You will absolutely not get by without studying, and having people to study with makes it 100X easier to be prepared for each assignment and exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because of the information learned that prepares the student for further learning in higher courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned about human physiological processes, as well as evolutionary effects.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Going to lecture, attending the supplemental instruction sessions taught by the TA's, re-watching lectures on Canvas, and taking copious notes are all helpful ways of study to succeed.
