Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great intro course to Sociology, you learn a lot and you actually remember what you learn!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different types of sociological theories and I learned in debt what those theories consist of.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, and study! You do well on the exams as long as you study the material! That's all you have to do, as well as attend class because the class activities show up on exams as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor of this class was definitely my least favorite. She was not very good at helping students to understand the topics. She told us to read the textbook, and didn't discuss the book very much in class. The tests were then completely on the book and if you didn't understand it by yourself, you are stuck failing.

    Course highlights:

The topic was not horribly boring. It is interesting to see the relationship between things, such as the link between race and crime or religion and education. If you understand the book or the things she discusses in class, you will most likely find it interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook. Read the textbook. Read the textbook. It's the only way to know what is happening in the class. Pay attention in class and take notes. Make friends! Make friends in the class and form a study group so you can figure out what's going on.
