    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am naturally not a math wiz. But this course was especially difficult for me to understand because of the style of teaching. I felt that the professor expected us to know basic concepts, therefor skating by the the basics before we could understand.

    Course highlights:

I really learned how to apply myself in this course. I spent countless hours at the stats tutoring lab getting extra help, and long nights trying to understand concepts. I definitely learned how to work hard and put in the effort.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are confident in your math ability, you will be just fine in this course. If you are a little unsure of your math related skills, like me, maybe start with a lower stats class and work your way up. This way you will have a knowledge of the basic principles Dr. Symanzik expects you to come equipped with.
