    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class gave me an opportunity to work with a group to learn. I also got to study on my own, but my group and I really helped each other because we each understood different parts of the material and were able to share. My professor also did a good job of explaining concepts, and he had us watch some online videos created by the author of our textbook, Dr. Strang. The textbook was a great resource for learning. It had clear definitions and was split up into manageable sections.

    Course highlights:

I loved working with my homework group. It was a little scary when we got behind schedule, but we were always able to make things work. I loved being able to explain concepts to my group members when they didn't understand because it helped solidify my understanding. I was also very grateful for my group and their help when I struggled with some concepts. Our professor also offered extra credit to groups who completed their homework using LaTex. I feel like it was super useful to learn the programming language of LaTex, and I would highly recommend using it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't expect this to be an easy-A course. It isn't. You have to put in a fair amount of effort. However, it can be a very enjoyable (possibly even fun) class if you put in the work. You will need to set aside time to work with a group, which may require switching up your schedule a little.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Justin is an amazing lecturer! He made me want to go to class, and helped explain the concepts in a way that helped me understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study for tests well. Not just making sure you understand the material, but make sure that you can reproduce answers in the material. I learned the subject, and I had fun each lecture even if the topic was difficult to understand.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the notes and the homework problems. his tests are designed to test what you understood from both. Also, know the proofs.
