Advice for students:
Students who take this class should definitely consider putting in the time to study what you learn in class. Being comfortable with all of the identities and formulas is a must if you plan on doing well and getting good grades in this class.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
For students that are either entering school for the first time or who are returning to school after a long time, this is a simple but challenging class that starts to help you see how math turns into real applications in the real world.
Course highlights:
First entering this class I was caught off-guard by not taking a math class for over two years and having to remember basic arithmetic. Being at Utah State University however, made a huge difference. I was able to get excellent help from the professor and tutors that help me understand how to work through formulas. I learned how math and trigonometry actually relate to real world problems. Very exciting class!
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
If you are enrolled in Math 1060 I would definitely recommend spending the time necessary to study. Working through and getting familiar with all of the different laws and formulas is a must if you plan on doing well in this class and progressing to more difficult math classes in the future.
