Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although Dr. Rahmeyer may seem a little dry in his lectures, he genuinely understands what he is doing. He worked for many years in the engineering field, so he frequently offers advice for the "real world".

    Course highlights:

This is a basic introduction to engineering classes. You will learn a lot of basic procedures on how to approach more difficult problems in the future. Also, the homework format that is taught in this class is used throughout the rest of the program and upper-level classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a study group and go through the practice exams with them. If you review (and feel comfortable with) the review material, you will do well on the exams. After this class, you may notice that you have multiple classes with the same group of students. It makes the experience more enjoyable and more beneficial if you have a solid study group and a network of people of whom you can ask questions.
