    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was interesting and is applicable to everyone. It isn't too hard and had a lot of open book assignments, quizzes, and tests. The professor was very willing to work with you and help you understand everything.

    Course highlights:

The block class was 6 classes and 7 tests and you were done! I learned more about what we eat and how to have a healthier lifestyle not just following dieting fads.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be willing to open your book and study. Although it isn't a whole lot of reading, and the reading level is pretty easy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved Nutrition 1020 with Rebecca Heaton at Weber State University. It was an interesting class where I learned a lot about the composition of foods, and how the body uses it. The course was nice because there were homework assignments that really helped you remember the material on tests. I had heard that there was a lot of math in this course, and there wasn't too much!

    Course highlights:

I liked learning more about the digestive system and about foods and how they affect the environment.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook, go to the Supplemental Instruction groups, and do all the extra credit you can! I passed with an A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course! It was beyond fascinating and so fun to be able to learn about how to take care of your body correctly. It is also a great class for high school students to take to get ahead on their freshman year.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to manage a diet for myself correctly because if was based on my age, height, and weight. One of the other highlights that I really enjoyed the science of nutrition in energy balance, body composition, and fitness.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that if you don't understand it very well in class to watch the T-talks available on the assignments website that are required for this course. Also flash cards really helped me with the terms.
