Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is fairly understanding and makes class enjoyable. She sends out a weekly email to let us know what the assignments and lectures are for the week. Often times she brings Oreos and candy as prizes for those who participate and win in games. Class presentations are relatively simple and always have activities.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights are the games. It's fun and helps us realize how much we have actually learned or remember about grammar rules.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Most days there are participation points due. As long as you keep up with the big assignments like tests and compositions the class isn't too difficult. There is a presentation, but it's not too difficult.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class and specifically this professor because it is fun, informative, and a judgement free zone. Usually people are worried about how they sound in a language class such as this. Also, Professor Mathews is amazing at what he does and in his simple explanations. He has traveled the world and seen many amazing things and knows the CULTURE of Spanish, not just the language.

    Course highlights:

I finally came to an understanding of the rules of the subjunctive form of conjugation and how to use it. I learned how to write formal letters. Also, it really helped to have a professor who speaks the language so well because he helped us understand the importance of pronunciation.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class! You have nothing to lose. And, if you haven't taken any lower level classes it is an easy way to get credit for them, you just have to pay like $60 and you have the lower credits if you pass this course.
