    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this course. It is a great foundation for students going into medical and research fields. Dr. Covey worked really well with her students, and took the time to help us truly understand the material. This has been one of my favorite classes at Weber State.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course.. definitely learning how the body functions on a chemical level. It was so interesting to gain a better understanding of why our bodies work the way they do, and the diverse chemical pathways we institute to maintain optimum health.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! Don't let the difficulty of the class keep you from taking the course. If you put in the time needed to understand the material, work with the professor, and truly study, you will have no problem in this class. Complete practice problems from the book, worksheets, make flashcards for definitions, but enjoy what you're learning as well!
