    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The information in Economics is super interesting. It's a social science, but with business and systems implications. If you like numbers this is a great class and it is foundational to business learning, but can be applied to any field. Study hard. Get to know the professor. Most professors are very approachable and actually enjoy individual student interaction.

    Course highlights:

The professor was a riot. Once I remember him dropping a hundred dollar bill and the ground to demonstrate profits to be earned, but many sat there. When a student tried to grab the bill, he explained that's exactly what we should be doing. It was also so fun to learn about supply and demand and how prices are often determined by intersecting supply and demands in various markets.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, of course. Attend class. Build a relationship with the professor.
