Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The resources available in this course are outstanding! The course mentors are available via telephone, and email and are very quick to respond to you. They are enthusiastic and very competent in their subject area.

    Course highlights:

The videos of excellent teachers doing their jobs were very helpful. Access to Lynda.com is mindblowing as there is so much there that is is like a candy store of education. I learned about some of the latest technology that can be used in the classroom, techniques of managing a class full of students, and about some great practices for handling conflict in the classroom. It was great!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Get a external hard drive, save the ideas in an organized filing system so that you will have access to the information once you are teaching. The technology and software apps information is excellent. Store the material but also try out the apps so you can see if you find it useful, easy to use and interesting to your potential students.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was extremely difficult for me! It is a requirement for the Elementary Education degree. It is definitely possible to pass it, but you will need to work very hard and get help from the mentors.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how I would like to run my classroom after I graduate!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Work very very hard and ask for lots of help! There is no shame in asking for help and the mentors are very helpful!
