Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is required for any accounting major

    Course highlights:

You will learn basics of accounting, the accounting process, financial management, and accounting information systems.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch all the videos and take detailed notes! Charts help! There is very little math involved.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I actually really enjoyed this course once I got the main ideas and vocabulary down. I may be a weirdo that enjoys math, but I find the (semi)mindless number crunching relaxing.

    Course highlights:

You mostly just have to understand the very most basic parts of accounting to move through this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just focus on the first 6 chapters and skim the rest!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

VYC1 BASICS OF ACCOUNTING is a required course but was so useful and well-structured.

    Course highlights:

The presentations are clearly laid out and the pre-assessment and objective assessment solidify concepts well.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The presentations available through the course's learning resources are invaluable but I found myself searching other concepts during the pre-assessment because not everything was covered. I used the pre-assessment as a study resource. The OA was more challenging and had material that wasn't covered beforehand but the cut score is quite low and I flew over by 22%.
