Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was not too difficult but extremely informative. The exercises after each section helped solidify each process and built on the previous process you had gone over in the section before. Altogether, it was a useful building block for further courses in accounting.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of businesses. Accounting is the most important subject to know about when going into business. The basics of debits and credits, recording transactions, dealing with taxes, etc. are what businesses deal with on a daily basis. It is fundamental for ever business person to know what is taught in this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest doing a chapter a day and then the work either the same day or the next day. This will keep the information fresh and make it easier in the long run. I finished this course about 2-3 weeks earlier than expected by doing this. It is possible to finish this course in half of the expected time if you put in the effort.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I actually really enjoyed this course once I got the main ideas and vocabulary down. I may be a weirdo that enjoys math, but I find the (semi)mindless number crunching relaxing.

    Course highlights:

You mostly just have to understand the very most basic parts of accounting to move through this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just focus on the first 6 chapters and skim the rest!
