Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The two tasks were pretty straight forward. Create an outline for a presentation and then give a presentation. It really isn't that difficult if you follow the outline sample and pick a topic you actually know about. Your presentation can be improv if you know the subject.

    Course highlights:

Creating a video was pretty awesome. I would have never done it, if it wasn't required. It made me a better speaker and presenter.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When you prepare to give your presentation, pick a topic you like and understand. This alone makes the assignment better. Your presentation doesn't have to be a complicated subject.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Course required for most degree programs. Need to make an outline and record a presentation.

    Course highlights:

Need to submit information to the course instructors, so completing the course might be delayed a while.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Look at all the supporting material in making your outline

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I am not a good public speaker. I recommend this course to how much help you receive from Dr. Buchanan and your student mentor. I was able to prepare an outline and deliver a presentation within a week or actually starting the course.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights within this course was how quickly Taskstream was able to grade the work while giving in-depth feedback on what needs to be corrected. At WGU, your degree is self-paced and competency based. The quicker you get through your courses, the sooner you will come to finishing your degree. I learned that I am a better presenter than I thought myself to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fret over being on camera. I am pretty anti-social and I hate being on camera but I passed the class with great remarks coming from the course instructor.
