    Course Overview:

    With learning the background of the pioneers of our field, what becomes apparent is that the main reason people become nurses is they want to care for people

    Course highlights:

    The different theories of nursing. Some may have a method, but the one I associated with the most cannot be taught. It is to have a true compassion, empathy and love for people.

    Find a theory that most fits your personality and style.

    Course Overview:

    This class is not difficult and can be done very quickly. It requires an essay for the performance task.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights are that you can complete the course very quickly. WGU allows us to move through courses quickly, so take advantage in this course.

    Excellent introduction to the history of the nursing profession, and the theorists/ theories that form the framework for professional practice.

    Course highlights:

    I gained a better understanding of the rich history of professional nursing, and how to apply the past to present practice.
