Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great class with a chill drawing environment. You really get a good understanding of how to use charcoal and lights and darks. You learn a little bit of human anatomy but most of it is mostly gestural and not all atomically correct.

    Course highlights:

All the models are great. Half the class is with the model nude and usually the second half is with the model in costume which gets interesting as you get into the more longer poses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class if you want to experiment with different styles and gestures. There is very little lecture but the professor does walk around and give critique.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Always great models to draw. Their costumes are often wonderfully creative. Relaxed atmosphere with easygoing, yet experienced teachers.

    Course highlights:

I learned to carefully observe the human figure and to caricature what I see.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a class where you can take the time to just enjoy drawing. The teachers sometimes come around to give you advice, but if you want regular feedback, you have to pursue it. Overall, I have grown as an artist in this class.

    This class was tough.

It's like steroids for your art!

    Course highlights:

This class is an absolute must for animation scholars.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do it - it'll be great! You're going to be challenged, and you're probably going to be affected on an emotional level while you're taking this class.
