    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for the very hands-on intensive lab, however, this is a memorization heavy course; make sure you are prepared to be constantly learning taxonomic classification and various details about species you have never heard of.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was definitely the lab! I learned a great deal about various kinds of vegetation, including Conifers, which coincided with the radiation of terrestrial vertebrates! Professor Burton is an interesting guy, happy to talk to you outside of class, which is really helpful in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, you need to take very thorough notes both in class and out. In addition, make sure you draw a lot of pictures of various specimens and make connections between the different taxon in how they are similar and different. If you put in the work, you will succeed.

Hi lights were the Dino lecture. that was pretty interesting and fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please read the book ahead of time and practice your terms and go to office hours.
