    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is very important to learn how to communicate effectively with the people around you, and not just be a good communicator but a good listener as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to speak publicly in a class of about 25 people without appearing to be nervous and facing the number one fear in America: public speaking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Talk to the other students in your small section and get to know them, it makes talking in front of them a lot easier!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because if you are scared of public speaking like I was, you can get rid of that fear or at least alleviate it because of the oral speaking component. It is a crucial class that can help you out in everyday life and along with that you get to learn about different cultures and how they differ in the way they communicate.

    Course highlights:

Essentially I learned that speaking is a part of everyday life and that it is very crucial to master early on. Knowing how to speak effectively can put you in a position to where you are more susceptible to obtain job opportunities and the other hand be able to maintain better relationships with people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the book and taking notes on bolded terms is very important. Other than that just be willing to put yourself out there and speak to your classmates to the best of your ability.
