    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Kirschvink is a terrible teacher, you will have a hard time learning from him.

    Course highlights:

If you study often and keep up with the class, you will learn the basics of calculus and the skills needed to succeed in calc 2 and beyond

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study A LOT. Score higher than the average. Do all the homeworks.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was not bad at all, extremely comparable to the Calculus you can take in high school. However, DO NOT TAKE KIRSCHVINK AT ALL COSTS. He does not teach well and blames the students when all of his classes average a 38% on an exam. Other than that, the curve is amazing and the TAs are also awesome.

    Course highlights:

I learned enough in order to make me successful in MATH 151, which honestly that's all that matters. The "highlights" would be the time and effort the TAs put in in order to make us pass. I learned the basics and how to solve a problem using techniques from past math classes when I got stuck.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Math 150 is pretty bad, usually because of the teacher though. However, Math 151 is so much better, but also very fast paced. Just get used to the pace of learning and how to take the tests, don't worry too much about your raw score because I promise over half the class did just as bad as you or worse.
