    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a great and incredibly interesting class. Definitely need to have an understanding for numbers as there's quite a bit of formulas and what not. Professor Showghi tries to make this pretty difficult material as simple as possible with his use of slides. Make sure to attend class and ask questions as you need and he'll try to break it down to the most simple form for you. Some of the material will definitely be applicable in your life now and later in your business career!

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course includes learning about continuous improvement. This not only helps with everyday life right away, but will do wonders in your careers if you're always finding ways to continually improve. Also, learning how to effectively manage a project and make it efficient as possible helps with making sure planning is done well and executed to perfection.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure and GO TO CLASS. Ask questions when something is unclear as he can go fast if everyone seems they are understanding everything he is saying. He will try his best to break everything down to its simplest form. Make sure and take notes paired with the slides as the slides help a ton when studying for tests, but it will help to know how he lectured for the slides as well. He seriously cares about everyone understanding the material well and doing well on the tests. Take him if you get the chance.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class in a very interesting course that lets you see into several aspects of the supply chain management of a business. I have learned more in this class than any of my other courses this semester.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge in several specific aspects of the supply chain management. Some of these included forecasting methods, project management, and linear programming. All of these topics are very applicable and you learn them in a real world context.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in Professor Yang's course, you need to attend class, pay attention during her homework assignments because they are very similar to test questions, and pay attention to her lecture course guide. A lot of her test questions come from her guide as opposed to the text book.
