Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Matt Laur is extremely passionate about his own work and experiences as an anthropologist studying in places such as the Galápagos Islands. He brings this experience to class and applies it to the content we are learning about.

    Course highlights:

Examples are the topics of overpopulation, agriculture, and cultural diets and health. All of these topics are approached from a large variety of perspectives as he encourages students to step out of their normal mindset to see things in a new way.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of reading involved in this course. As long as you come to class for clicker points, take good notes, and do the reading assigned you will undoubtedly succeed in this class! You will love the reading as it applies to everyone, but make sure you manage your time well because there’s a lot of it and it’s dense.
