    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is easy to understand and learn the material. There is tons of extra lab time and video that you can watch on your own time if you get lost in class.

    Course highlights:

Making your projects and seeing everything come together are the best parts of this class. You learn how to draft complex as well as simple things. Johnston also teaches you the tricks to the trade.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and use the extra free time given to get ahead. There is plenty of time to finish projects in class. Ask for help if you need it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great course with a great professor. Johnston really knows his stuff and has a lot of experience in 3D CAD. He's willing to help you very much, if you're hard working.

    Course highlights:

Learned GD&T, Medium level 3D CAD in both SolidWorks and CREO Parametric.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Really try and learn your GD&T, as he places a great amount of emphasis on this throughout the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this professor because the course is not too rigorous and everything you learn is necessary to know as an engineer. And the professor is kind and very approachable if you have any questions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were working with Solidworks (a program that helps you to design products), doing FEA Analysis (Which is analysis related to stress on a part), and when, at the end of the semester, we went down to the shop where many engineers go to make parts by hand. It was so cool to see all the machines in person.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the assignments, ask ANY questions you have, and try your best to enjoy what you are learning. There is a god amount of work and the course goes somewhat fast, but it is fun and can be passed.
