    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Aside from being a required course for many Chemistry majors, I recommend Chem410 because it is a very interesting course. Dr. Cooksy is a very dedicated professor, holding office hours and review sessions each week.

    Course highlights:

I have only taken part A so far, which covers all of Quantum Chemistry; I am planning to take part B next semester. In lecture, we learn how to apply the properties of physics to chemistry. The lab is very interesting; we learn how to use MS Excel and Maple to model functions we learned in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always attend the lecture and review sessions, try to attend office hours as well. Dr. Cooksy is there to help you, and he is very understanding.
