    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is extremely difficult. The lectures were too fast and a lot of complex information that could have easily been boiled down to provide better understanding

    Course highlights:

The lab for this course was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot about structures of the bonds and what shapes they form and how they become that way.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay ahead. Stay on top of every little assignment to make up for low test scores.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the most challenging courses at SDSU. It definitely forces you to put all your time and effort into the class. One thing that helped me was taking notes after reading the textbook. Making study guides also helped a lot. If you put the time and effort in, you can definitely finish with a good grade.

    Course highlights:

After taking chem200, I can apply what I learned to other future courses like chem201 and even bio203.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, go to lecture, go to Chem help room, and the textbook could actually help you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course even though it is a very feared class at SDSU. I dreaded Chemistry in High School and always found it very difficult to learn, however, professor Harrison made it very clear to me and I started to understand and actually like chemistry for the very first time in my life. I am not saying the class is easy, it's very time consuming and you should definitely spend a huge portion of your semester just dedicating yourself to it. I honestly didn't crack the book open once. He posts his lectures only and what I did was I watched them, took notes, and solved his practice problems. I got an A on all the tests. Loved it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot, but a lot of it was review from high school. General Chemistry topics: Periodic table, Acid-Base reactions, morality-molality, orbitals, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to his lectures, watch them, and take good notes.
