Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it brings perspective to what goes into getting a brand name acknowledged. Our generation is so focused on what is new and popular but it is interesting learning how it became so popular and what ways did these companies catch our attention.

    Course highlights:

This course going in depth about the creative ways marketing can drive the success of a business. It brought me insight into why marketing strategies may work for one audience and not the next and also how to properly focus in on your market audience!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open to hearing marketing pitches and learning why you may or may not be right when considering a big companies marketing strategy such as Apple. There is more behind it then we know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because if you are interested in marketing or business it is a great place to start and you learn so much about the marketing process and how a company can be successful regardless of where they stand. Also, Dr. Floyd is an amazing professor and really knows his stuff.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things regarding the marketing process. I learned how to analyze companies whether it be the competition or your own company to find flaws or ways to grow and strengthen the marketing aspect of the company and to help it go in a positive direction. Analyzing other companies helps company to know how to better target their audience and effectively compete with their fellow competitors in that field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the homework, go to class and take notes/pay attention. this class is fairly easy if you show up and participate. Everything you learn is very straight forward and black and white and if you do not understand just ask questions.
