    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to get a good understanding of first amendment law beyond a constitutional law course. Also this class was a smaller setting which made it more interactive.

    Course highlights:

This course was great in learning the black letter law of First Amendment law and then applying it to real life scenarios. In this class we did a few exercises that taught us how to deal with a client that has a first amendment issue and how to approach the problem with a solution.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure to start outlining for this class right from the start. There is a lot of information and your grade is based of one final exam. Also, I would try to practice applying the material you learn in class to real life scenarios and hypotheticals. Finally, talk to the professor about any material you don't understand. Its complicated material and he is easy to approach.
