This is a basic course that almost all majors need as a gen ed, and if you have a choice I would say that you are good with just about any professor as they are all great. Mitchell was mine for 161 and 162 and she is great, but I found that I things made a lot more sense when you went and saw her for extra help.
Essentially you learn the makeup of molecules, the structures of them, the atoms, charges on particles, and the lab reinforces your knowledge.
