    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

What really makes a class is a good professor. Professor Dorsty made the class interesting where I normally wouldn't have been interested in the subject. He opened my eyes to why learning about the Beat generation and Jack Kerouac was important and how writing could be transformational and meaningful to society.

    Course highlights:

Besides the needed information, it was the first time a professor was able to show me how English could impact the world. I struggled with being an English major because I wanted to study something that would translate into making the world better. He showed me that writers could change people's way of thinking and influence change. I changed my major back to English after his class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything given to you and learn from your professors. They are a wealth of information not just academically but have a lot of life experience.
