    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class applies basics of psychology to the classroom. Like most other college classes, it is a self-teach class while the professor is there as a guideline for questions and understanding comprehension. However, the information is easy to understand and can be applied to every college student, since we all obtained a k-12 education level from somewhere, whether through public, private, or home-schooling.

    Course highlights:

This was my first psychological course after taking the basics and it helped me gain a more in-depth understanding of how psychology is applied in environments other than counseling. While it is geared more towards future k-12 teachers, there is a lot of knowledge to be gained for other aspects of psychology, such as research, counseling, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Whether or not you want to become a teacher or guidance counselor (or something related), this course is excellent for obtaining a deeper understanding of current application. The course is easy and mostly common sense with some technical terminology thrown in from basic psychology courses.
