Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a great teacher, and very approachable for office hours to get help after class if you need it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about molecular geometry, how to use stoichiometry, and than ionic and molecular compounds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advise i can give is to do the homeworks and practice them till you understand, and if you start to struggle go to his office hours. Than to also go over his lecture slides outside of class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course in and of itself is very helpful, and depending on the major, necessary for one to perform at above average levels in the class. However, the professor, Lasseter, does not lecture well and it becomes difficult to get the classroom experience that is needed. Usually at CNU, the lecturers do well so that external aid is not needed, however, if one should get Lasseter as a lecturer, it is necessary to immediately set up aid.

    Course highlights:

It forced me to adopt a more mature studying pattern and learned, the hard way, that no body will really hold ones hand in college. Even if it means that the lecturer is not helpful, it is necessary that one takes the measures to ensure a good grade is the outcome of the class, no matter what help is needed.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Chemistry in and of itself is difficult, especially college level Chemistry. The biggest hurdle of this course was the lecturer, however, the course still proved to be difficult. Even in this class, and others for that matter, work your absolute hardest.
